Blogmas Day 4: My Favourite Christmas Movies

Happy December!

IT IS CHRISTMAS SEASON! AND DAY 4 OF BLOGMAS! Which lets be real we all know can only mean one thing it is time to dive back into my list of favourite Christmas movies. Let’s be real you know that as of November my evenings have found me wrapped up in a blanket in my living room with candles lit and a hot chocolate in hand watching as many Christmas Films as I could possibly fit into Nov/Dec.

The Holiday:

We knew this film was going to feature on this list as it does every year, but it is probably my most watched film of the season this year. I don’t know why but there is something that draws me to this film every year, maybe it is young Jude Law, maybe it is Jack Black or maybe it is just the magic of a feel good magic of christmas love story that draws me in,.Whatever it maybe this is my current go to cosy movie and I am obsessed.

Miracle on 34th street:

I adored this movie as a child and I am almost pretty sure I adore this movie even more now. This film I think is fully responsible for my want for a bay window with a like seating area. That and the want to be in New York over Christmas one year. The Parade is everything.

This is always top of my list, a feel-good family Christmas film that’s not only set in New York but is a Christmas Comedy, Romantic yet a family favourite. Will Ferrell is also a fav! I must admit I have probably watched this film a minimum of like 3 times already and I am not sorry.

A Muppets Christmas Carol:

This is a family tradition, this will get watched at least twice before Christmas Day and is my mums favourite Christmas film. Let’s be real who doesn’t love The Muppets and Michael Caine telling a Dickens classic. I also may of had the soundtrack on whilst putting up my tree. Whoops.

Love Actually:

Two words HUGH GRANT!! Another Christmas classic. Such a feel good classic that never fails to have me in tears both sad and laughter. It has some of my favourite cast of all time.

That is it, that is a list of my top 5 favourite Christmas films!

What is your favourite Christmas film? Leave them in the comments.

Love Always,

Gee xoxo
