GoodBye 23…

Happy June!

I hope you are having a lovely June so far! As we know

Tomorrow I turn 24! Which in itself seems crazy to me. Like it really does not feel it has been a year since my last birthday. What a year it is has been! 23 seems to have gone far too quickly for me with so much happening during this year.

Not only did I finally get to have a graduation for my undergrad but I completed my masters. I moved once again and fully on my own, 2 hours plus away from the majority of friends and family. Although this is not quite where I thought I would be I would be lying if it wasn’t a learning curve.

It only felt right to write a little goodbye post for 23. Although I think this has been one of the years with the most ups and downs. I can certainly say I have walked away from 23 with some incredible memories and some lessons that I will carry with me into 24. 23 became a year of intense healing and letting go of the past.

I thought the best way to send of 23 was to let you know some of the lessons I am taking away from this year and also sharing with you some of my favourite moments.

Friends come and go, some are meant to be in your life for long periods of time, some are there as lessons you need to learn, others are there to create fast paced memories.

Saying yes to an adventure if nothing else will show you what you do or do not want from life.

Being alone does not have to be a bad thing.

You cannot let the past have a hold on your future.

Just a little collection of some of my favourite moments from 23.

What I am looking forward to for 24?

  • New adventures
  • Healing further
  • Travel more
  • Read more different books
  • Write more

Well it’s officially goodbye to 23 and an almost hello to 24.

What would your advice be for someone turning 24?

Love Always,

Gee xoxo
