Welcome to Blogtober Day 5!
I hope you are all having a wonderful October so far. I thought that it would be fun to share with you guys what some of my bucket list things are for this fall. We all know that I am a huge fan of festivities this time of year. Even if some will have to wait until next year! Autumn is one of my favourite seasons as all things Autumn and Spooky Season.
So last year I got to finally go to a proper Pumpkin patch and I spent way too long looking at all the Pumpkins. I was literally a ball of happiness all day! It is officially going to have to become another tradition because not only does it just embody the season but also it makes for the cutest photos.
You can’t have an Autumn/Halloween without carving out some Pumpkins. I think since 2017 and starting uni I have done a Pumpkin every year even when it’s just been me.
Decorate the home:
Decorate the house (Decorating the house for the different seasons is a favourite thing to do.) As I am sure you have noticed from other posts it is almost an obsession at this point. I will note that fall decoration may or may not have started back in September.
Halloween Movie Night:
Grab yourself a blanket, pick your favourite movie from the list, get all comfy and I will bring the snacks and tea. There is nothing quite as enjoyable as curling up on the sofa with a good movie when it’s a little chilly outside.
I am determined to bake more this year. Therefore we have to include baking in the Halloween bucket list. I think we need to make some spooky ghost cookies.
Make Candy Apples:
Literally, as the countdown to fireworks night begins… These are some of my favourite treats. Incredibly simple yet incredible.
Make an Autumn Wreath:
I have cheated the last few years and have had a pre-bought Autumn wreath but I would love to make my own one day. Maybe go to one of the craft events where you make them in a group. I feel like it would get you in the spirit of the season.
Create a Halloween Playlist:
If you know me you will know that come September both my Autumn playlist and Halloween playlist will go on a loop. There’s nothing quite like dancing around your kitchen whilst baking Halloween treats to Halloween music.
Host a Friendsgiving:
I haven’t done this in a couple years but who doesn’t like an excuse to get all your friends together with good food and laughter. We also know that it is an extra excuse for me to decorate my house a little more. I think I may have to host a Friendsgiving this year.
Watch some fireworks:
Once Halloween has passed it is only a few days until Fireworks night and it is one of my favourite times of the year. There is something so beautiful about them.
What are some of your favourite things to do this season?
